You did the keyword research, wrote a clean title, and still your impressions are flat. Nine times out of ten, the culprit is a browse node that doesn't match how European shoppers actually filter. Here's the fix.
On Amazon.com the catalog is deep and forgiving. In DE, FR and IT the catalogs are shallower, so Amazon relies heavily on the browse node to decide who sees your product. Land in a broad or wrong node and you're invisible to the filter that drives the most qualified traffic.
Open the top 10 organic results for your main keyword in the target marketplace. Note their leaf node. If your product sits in a different (often broader) node, that's your leak.
Sports & Outdoors (broad) vs Sports & Outdoors > Exercise > Yoga > Mats (leaf). The leaf node captures the shopper with intent; the broad one dilutes it.DE: German nodes are granular — match the exact Produktart.
FR: French nodes sometimes differ from the English taxonomy; verify, don't assume.
IT / ES: smaller catalogs mean the right node has outsized impact on rank.
UK: post-Brexit, UKCA labelling expectations can differ from the EU node — check compliance too.
Most categories can be edited in Seller Central; some restricted nodes need a flat-file update or support ticket. Do it before your next restock so the new node accumulates signals from day one.
